Are your wedding ceremonies legal?
Yes. Our Wedding Ceremonies are 100% legal and binding per CA state law.
How old do you have to be to get married?
In CA, you must be over the age of 18 to be married.
What form of I.D. do you require?
Driver's License, State issued I.D.,
Government issued I.D. from another country including the Matricula Consular, Naturalization Certificate, Military I.D. or Alien Registration Card.
Must I be a resident of the U.S. to be legally married in the U.S?No, anyone from any country, at any time can be legally married in the U.S. For Example: You may be here on vacation with no plans of staying in the U.S. but can be legally married here. Most countries accept the your marriage in the U.S. as a valid marriage in your own country.
Do I need to bring a witness?
You do not need a legal witness to be married in CA if you have a valid government isued I.D.
Do I have to purchase my own marriage license at the county clerk?
We have the CA state marriage license here to be issued to you by Our Notary Public saving you the time and the hassle of getting it at the county clerk.
How do I obtain a certified copy of my marriage license?
Our Notary public will issue you copies of your license the same day for immediate proof of marriage. However your certified copy ($13. CA state charge per copy) will arrive to you home from the county clerk 6-8 weeks after the date of marriage.
Can I get my certified copy rushed?
If you require your certified copy faster than that.
We offer a rush service.
The fee is $40.
This will get you the certified copy in 2-4 weeks instead of 6-8. 2-4 weeks is the fastest possible way of obtaining a certified copy in Los Angeles.
We need to cancel our wedding plans. Can we?
Here at the Albertson Wedding Chapel, we understand that unforseen events may alter your wedding plans. You have up to 6 months from the original wedding date to reschedule with no questions asked and no penalty fees. However, payment is non-refundable

Immigration Help
Welcome. We help you with the required marriage documents
you will need to give to INS.
Our Notary Public will issue you the marriage license here on the premises. if you are over 18 and with a photo ID , driver's license or passport. If you do not have a photo ID or passport then you will need to bring 2 witnesses that do.
We also help you obtain the certified copy of your marriage license (also known as the marriage certificate) from the County Clerk of Los Angeles.
We can also get you the certified copy in as fast as 2-4 weeks from the date of marriage. The usual turn around time for the county clerk is 2 months. We also take excellent photos of the wedding ceremony that are crucial for you to have when it comes time for your interview. Photo albums are always requested by the immigration officers.
